Group riding can be fun to do and quite impressive to see when done safely. Our Road Captains will guide you which helps to make group riding an enjoyable time. We ride in the staggered riding formation for safety reasons. Before each ride they will tell you about the ride, demonstrate hand signals, and give out all the information you will need to help get you to the designated place.
There will be a Road Captain leading the ride with Road Captains throughout the pack and a Road Captain as a sweep following the group. The Intermountain Chapter tries hard to insure that everyone has fun and is safe.
Some things to remember about group rides are:
1. Listen to the Road Captains.
2. Show up with a full gas tank and on time.
3. Check your bike is it ready and safe.
4. Are you physically and mentally ready to ride?
5. Are you prepared for the elements?
6. be alert and safe
7. Lets ride and have fun.
